Amy passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2010. She was born on February 16, 1923.
She will be dearly missed by her sons Randy (Halina) Raban, Kim (Cheri) Raban, both of Winnipeg and daughter Shawna (Grant) Roeland of Nelson, BC. Also surviving is her brother, George Strelioff of Veregin, Saskatchewan and her sister Doris Strelioff of Winnipeg.
She was predeceased by her husband Harold Raban in 1978.
Amy leaves behind her grandchildren, Amber (Scott) Corps, Samantha Roeland, Holly Raban, Vanessa Roeland, Clayton (Renee) Raban, Sawyer Raban, Everett Raban, Travis Raban, Lauren Raban and one great grandson, Ryder Raban as well as many nieces and nephews, old friends and new.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Lions Personal Care Centre for their care and compassion. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in her name may be made to “Lions Personal Care Centre Memorial Donation” 320 Sherbrook St. Wpg. MB R3B 2W6.
Please join us for a memorial celebration 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Winnipeg, MB. Amy will be interred with her husband at the Bird River Cemetery at a later date.
