It is with great sadness, and heavy hearts, that we announce the sudden passing of Judy Lorraine Pimentel, who died peacefully at home on January 2, 2018, at the age of 62.
Judy is survived by her mother Betty; brothers Jim (Arlene) and CJ (Alaina); sisters Jean and Stacey; and her honorary brother Michael. Judy also leaves behind her son Jose; daughter Megan (Brayden); and her grandson Jayden. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. She was predeceased by her children’s father, Jose Luis Pimentel (1995); her granddaughter Serena (1997); the love of her life Ronald Dereski (2013); and her father RJ Hutchinson (2015).
Judy was an amazing woman. She was her son Joey’s number one blogging fan. She took pride in watching him grow into the man that he has become today. Her daughter Megan was the light of her life. She enjoyed going out for coffee with her many friends, who she spoke dearly of. Judy enjoyed random surprise visits from her daughter, her son-in-law, and treating her grand-puppy Zoey with anything she could get away with, when nobody was watching. She enjoyed her special visits with her sister Jean, and enjoyed touching base with her other siblings on occasion. Judy enjoyed visiting her mother at the Maples Personal Care Home, sharing laughs and treats with her. She will be remembered dearly by Michael, who would visit and take care of her every day. Judy had a sarcastic sense of humour, and was an outgoing woman with a heart of gold. Everyone will always remember her silly remarks, and her “can do” attitude. She always spoke fondly about how much she enjoyed her long, deep conversations with her special friend, Kevin.
Heaven took its angel too soon, but you are no longer hurting. With every day that passes, we miss you more each second. We love you Judy. Rest in Paradise.< back to obituary listing
